Winter celebrations continue this weekend with Vallecito’s Winterfest. It’s a two-day party that offers a jam-packed schedule of both outdoor and indoor events, kicking off at 8 a.m. Saturday with a pancake breakfast at Vallecito Country Market. Once you’ve filled your stomach, check out ice fishing clinics; dog sled rides; a kids ice sculpture event; wine tasting and cheese pairing; a Ullr and Skadi Fire and Ice Happy Hour/Costume Contest; and a Winterfest Soiree.
