Animas Valley Grange will host a Zoom presentation by author Beth Hoffman about her new book, “Bet the Farm,” from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 21.
After years studying food and agriculture, Hoffman moved to her husband’s family ranch in Iowa with the goal of becoming a farmer. “Bet the Farm” is a first-hand account of the fiscal reality of farming today and a personal exploration of more just and sustainable ways of producing food.
