‘Marie Curie’ compelling, engaging

I just attended the performance of “The Half-Life of Marie Curie” by the Merely Players. The two-person cast of Maureen May as Sarah Choszczyk and Hertha Ayrton as Marie Curie was simply magnificent. Funny, serious, compelling, engaging – this cast did it all with flair and professionalism. Can one say that about amateurs?

The theater is funky and welcoming. The staging, lights, sound and hospitality were all well done. Merely Players is a gem in our community and I will be returning soon.
