The Animas Valley Grange will host “Simple steps to maximize the benefits of rain in your home landscape,” by Eva Montane, president of Columbine Landscape Co., at 6:30 p.m. July 15. This talk will be given outdoors on the grounds of the Animas Valley Grange Hall, 7271 County Road 203.
Participants will learn how to leverage the scarce rainfall in landscapes and demonstrate how to “plant the rain” for hydrated land, happy plants and a lower water bill.
Montane holds certifications as a Water Harvesting Practitioner, and in Permaculture and Landscape Design.
This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served at 6:15 p.m.
