Get help with Family, Friend, Neighbor caregiver tax credit

Are you caring for children ages 0 to 5 in your home or as a nanny? You might be a Family, Friend and Neighbor caregiver – such as a grandparent, aunt, friend or nanny – and you may qualify for a $1,200 tax credit.

To help, the La Plata Food Equity Coalition is hosting a PDIS Paperwork & Tech Support Night from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Durango Adult Education Center, 701 Camino del Rio #301.

We’ll walk you through the three easy steps required to receive this credit, provide paperwork support and connect you with resources designed to help caregivers.

Note: This opportunity is for caregivers of children ages 0 to 5.
