The college football season moves along as Thanksgiving nears, and the regular season will coming to an end sooner, rather than later.

Division I’s College Football Playoff is getting clearer by the week with some big games still to be played to sort out seeding. Bowl games are still on the line with less than a month left in the regular season.

Unfortunately for Division I Colorado college football fans, Colorado teams are not looking good for bowls. Colorado State is almost out of the bowl picture with its loss last weekend. Colorado and Air Force would need to win out to secure a bowl game.

Three of the four Division I Colorado college football teams are in action this weekend, with Colorado having the week off. Here’s a look at what matchups Colorado Division I college football teams have this week:

Air Force Falcons at UConn Huskies on Saturday at 10 a.m. MST

Where: Pratt & Whitney Stadium, East Hartford, Connecticut

How to watch: CBSSN

Records: Air Force is 3-6 overall and 2-4 in the Mountain West Conference after its 26-16 win at San José State last Saturday. UConn is 7-3 overall after its 37-34 win vs. Duke last Saturday.

Line: UConn is between a 6.5 and 7.5-point favorite depending on the sportsbook.

Notes: Air Force won its game against San José State last weekend primarily because of the Huskies’ 16 unanswered points in the second quarter for a 16-3 halftime lead. It also didn’t hurt that UConn won the turnover battle, 3-0.

Air Force quarterback Liam Szarka threw for 41 yards and a touchdown in the win. He also rushed for 87 yards and two touchdowns. San José State quarterback Walker Eget did throw for 334 yards, but threw two interceptions.

UConn also won its turnover battle 3-0 against Duke. Huskies quarterback Joe Fagnano also had a fantastic game, finishing 27/39 passing for 311 yards and three touchdowns. Fagnano is having an incredible season with 25 touchdown passes and 0 interceptions.

The Huskies are undefeated at home and have won six of their last seven games.

Colorado State Rams at New Mexico Lobos on Saturday at 1 p.m. MST

Where: University Stadium, Albuquerque

How to watch: Altitude Sports or Mountain West Network

Records: Colorado State is 2-7 overall and 1-4 in the Mountain West after its 42-10 loss vs. UNLV last Saturday. New Mexico is 6-3 overall and 3-2 in the Mountain West after its 40-35 win at UNLV on Nov. 1.

Line: New Mexico is a between a 14 and 15-point favorite, depending on the sportsbook.

Notes: The matchup between Colorado State and New Mexico is a unique one because both team’s last games were against UNLV. However, the UNLV game showed the opposite direction the teams are going in. Colorado State’s loss against UNLV was the Rams’ third consecutive loss and its sixth loss in seven games. New Mexico’s win against UNLV was the Lobos third consecutive win.

Colorado State actually led UNLV, 7-0, after the first quarter, but the Rams couldn’t stop Rebels quarterback Anthony Colandrea. He finished 15/22 passing for 251 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. The Rebels also ran for 320 yards and Colandrea had two rushing touchdowns. Colorado State had 292 yards of offense.

New Mexico and UNLV were engaged in a passing showdown. New Mexico quarterback Jack Layne finished with 342 yards passing, three touchdowns and an interception. Colandrea finished with 382 passing yards and three touchdowns.

The Lobos came away with the victory with a go-ahead touchdown with 2:54 left in the fourth quarter.

Northern Colorado Bears at Eastern Washington Eagles on Saturday at 2 p.m. MST

Where: Roos Field, Cheney, Washington

How to watch: ESPN+

Records: Northern Colorado is 3-7 overall and 1-5 in the Big Sky Conference after its 49-10 loss at Northern Arizona last Saturday. Eastern Washington is 4-6 overall and 3-3 in the Big Sky after its 29-24 loss at No. 2 Montana last Saturday.

Line: No line

Notes: Northern Colorado lost its third consecutive game with its 49-10 loss to Northern Arizona. The last two losses have been by an average of 43.5 points.

Northern Colorado allowed Northern Arizona to finish with five rushing touchdowns, and the Bears’ 10 points were all scored in the second quarter.

Eastern Washington has lost two consecutive games after its loss at No. 2 Montana. Eagles’ quarterback Jake Schakel’s arm must’ve been tired after he finished 43/63 passing for 451 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.

Note: The rankings for the Northern Colorado section and its opponents are different from the first three games because Northern Colorado and its opponents are part of the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) level.
