The League of Women Voters of La Plata County, in partnership with the Colorado Fiscal Institute and Reimagine Colorado, is hosting a meeting intended to provide the community an opportunity to identify shared values and create a road map for Colorado’s future.
The road map will be published as a public document that will contribute to Vision 2076, a statewide initiative gathering voices from communities across Colorado, according to a news release from the League.

“This is not your typical community meeting,” the release said.
According to the release, the meeting will include small group conversations, facilitated exercises to envision Colorado’s future, creative activities, hands-on projects, food and refreshments.
Child care and interpretation services will be available.
All who are interested in discussing and shaping Colorado’s future are welcome, the release said.
“We hope you’ll join us for this unique opportunity to help shape Colorado’s next 50 years,” the release said. “Feel free to bring friends, family or neighbors – the more voices, the better our vision will be.”
