I am writing to express my strong support for Hetal Doshi for Colorado attorney general. As someone who works closely on affordable housing issues, I believe Hetal is the most qualified candidate in this race because she understands that the attorney general’s role is fundamentally about protecting people. At a time when families across Colorado are struggling with rising housing costs, insurance costs, fraud, predatory practices and economic uncertainty, we need a leader who has a proven record of standing up for consumers and everyday residents.
Hetal has spent her career fighting for consumer protections, accountability and fairness. She understands how powerful institutions can take advantage of people and has shown a deep commitment to protecting vulnerable communities. Her background makes her uniquely prepared to address issues that directly impact Colorado families, including housing affordability, tenant protections, elder fraud, health care access and corporate misconduct.
As an affordable housing advocate, I especially appreciate that Hetal understands the connection between housing stability and economic security. Too many Coloradans are one unexpected expense away from losing their housing or falling behind. We need an attorney general who sees these challenges clearly and will use the office to protect consumers, enforce the law fairly and advocate for working families.
Hetal Doshi is thoughtful, experienced and deeply committed to public service. Colorado would be fortunate to have her as our next attorney general.
