Amaya Winn, 3, celebrates her creation of a painted egg carton that will be used as part of a seedling kit for a fundraiser for her school, River Mist Preschool on County Road 225. Amaya is the daughter of Mandy and Clay Winn of Durango. The school’s 37 students are creating seedling kits filled with vegetable and flower seeds for gardeners to pre-purchase before April 10. Interested green thumbs can call the school at 799-4647 to order. The seedling kits can be picked up between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. April 25 at the Sprout and Shout Party at the school.
