I have had the pleasure of meeting Melissa Youssef this past year as our paths have crossed while supporting the Women’s Resource Center.
We recognized from the onset that we shared a common passion of supporting local initiatives to better our community. I have a significant amount of appreciation for an individual who has demonstrated her commitment, passion and desire to serve.
Her dedication and ability to lead and represent are backed up with action, not just words. For the past three months Melissa has knocked on hundreds of doors, listening to residents’ concerns about our community. She will continue to knock on dozens more from now to election day.
Melissa and I meet regularly to stay in touch and discuss issues that are of relevance to Durango. I admire her work ethic, preparedness, and willingness to listen.
I support Melissa Youssef and hope you will take the time to learn about her background, campaign initiatives and platform, if you have not done so already. I encourage you to cast your City Council vote for her.
