The La Plata County Fair Board is accepting theme ideas for the 2024 fair, which is slated for Aug. 7 to 11. Contestants should aim for a slogan or theme with 10 words or fewer and they must reflect the family and community nature of the fair. Artwork is encouraged.

Submissions are due by 5 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 15). The winner will receive a $100 cash prize.

Submissions can be in person at the La Plata County Extension Office at the Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave., or mail to La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave., Durango, CO 81301.
