Durango Roller Girls will sponsor a “Derby 101” event to recruit new skaters and referees from 6:45 to 9:30 p.m. Monday at Chapman Hill, 500 Florida Road.
No experience is necessary and participants will learn roller derby basics and how to skate. Skates and protective gear will be provided and attendees are asked to bring a mouth guard.
