Residents may dispose of Christmas trees in the parking lot at the southeast corner of Elm and First streets and in the parking lot at the BMX park on the south side of East Empire Street in Cortez from Dec. 31 through Jan. 11.
Cortez crews will pick up trees curbside from Jan. 7-11. Place it at the curb in front of your house after removing ornaments, tinsel and trimmings.
