Durango’s annual Fiesta Days will run through the weekend. Events will be held at the La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave., unless otherwise noted:
Saturday, 1 P.M.: Second rodeo, with military appreciation.
Saturday, 5:30 P.M.: Chuck Wagon Cook-off and Barbecue. Cooking starts at 8 a.m. in shade of trees south of La Plata County Fairgrounds. Sponsored by La Plata Cattleman’s Association and Cow Belles.
Saturday, 6 p.m.: 2017 Queen coronation.
Saturday, 7 p.m.: Third rodeo, with breast cancer awareness presentation.
Sunday, 9 a.m.: Cowboy Church at fairgrounds grandstands.
Sunday, 9 a.m.: Pancake breakfast at Patio restaurant, 85 Goddard Ave., Ignacio. Sponsored by Ignacio FFA.
Sunday, 1 P.M.: Fourth rodeo, with championship event.
