U.S. Highway 160 was closed for about six hours on June 4 and June 5 after a three-car collision involving a horse trailer east of Bayfield sent at least one vehicle off the road.<br><br>Upper Pine and Durango Fire rescuers were joined by two towing companies to get the vehicles pulled off the side of the road. All of the drivers and passengers were wearing seatbelts and had no serious injuries. Two horses also survived.
