The 2016 election is well underway in Colorado. I am sure that many of your readers have already returned their ballots - good for them! However, there are many voters who have not voted or do not plan to vote. Those voters are the ones I want to address.

House District 59 has a candidate on the ballot that needs your vote to return to the State Capitol. J. Paul Brown is the kind of legislator we need in Denver. He is a man of faith, character and conviction with a tremendous work ethic.

I have had the pleasure of working with J. Paul Brown for the last two years. There are a few of us who arrive at the Capitol early every morning to spend extra time in preparation - J. Paul is one of those. He is tenacious in his defense of rural Colorado values and the Southwest Colorado way of life.

J. Paul delivers some of the most passionate and heartfelt messages of any of the legislators both on the House floor as well as in committee hearings. He is well respected on both sides of the aisle and his integrity is second to none.

As a former superintendent of Schools in Mancos, I understand Southwest Colorado and its unique needs. J. Paul Brown is the right choice for HD 59. In this election, your vote is extremely important.
