Southwest Colorado Community College will host informational sessions for prospective students on Aug. 7-8 at its campuses in Durango and Mancos.

Participants will be given a campus tour and time to consult with advisers and instructors about degree programs. Free help with admission and student-aid applications will also be available.

The sessions are:

Aug. 7 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the east campus in The Common’s building (second floor), 701 Camino del Rio in Durango.Aug. 8 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the west campus at 33057 U.S. Highway 160, between Cortez and Mancos.For more information, call 385-2001 or 564-6201.
