The “Standing on the Side of Love” march will be held Saturday.
Participants will meet at 11:30 a.m. in front of the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge depot, 479 Main Ave., and march north to Buckley Park at noon.
Speeches will be given at Buckley Park. All are welcome to participate in the march, which is not intended to be political or an “anti-Trump” event, organizer Melissa Stacy said.
The march is in conjunction with events planned by “RESPOND,” a day of free classes on social-, political- and economic-justice issues, at the Smiley Building, 1309 East Third Ave.
