One of the strengths of our style of government is checks and balances built into the constitution.
There are many reasons to vote against Amendment 69, but lack of accountability is foremost.
The only requirement to become a member of the proposed board of 21 is to be at least 18 years of age. No medical or insurance experience is required, and they answer to no one. Do we want such an entity entrenched in our constitution?
No checks, no balances, no on 69.
