A list of closures, cancellations and notices across La Plata County

Numerous closures have been announced across Southwest Colorado as a result of the spreading coronavirus.

As of Wednesday, La Plata County had no presumptive positive cases of COVID-19. Colorado was reporting 216 positive cases with 2,328 tests performed and two reported deaths.

Here are the closures and cancellations:

Durango

Durango Transit will limit each bus and trolley to a maximum of 10 passengers to limit exposure between passengers and transit operators. People are asked to limit rides to only essential trips, such as medical needs, groceries, or work. Anyone exhibiting illness symptoms will not be allowed to ride.The city has placed free parking signs at some meters in the Central Business District and is allowing parking at commercial loading zones for pickup at local restaurants, limited to 10 minutes.
