The Cancer Coalition of Southwest Colorado would like to thank the many members of the Four Corners Gem and Mineral Club who donated “Hope Stones” for people with Cancer. This project was spearheaded by Lony Shaw.
These beautiful gems are an assortment of highly polished stones of many shapes and colors. A rub of the stone in your pocket may be a reminder of hope and as someone once said, “Hope is the grace of endurance in the stormy days.”
Anyone who wants to receive a free “Hope Stone” may come to the ACS Cancer Resource Center, 65 Mercado St., between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. It is best to call ahead at 403-0086.
