The Durango Photography Club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Pine Room at La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.
Participants will learn what defines a winning photograph and how to make their photographs more competitive
Local photographer Paul Boyer will show selected images from the 2016 La Plata County Fair photography exhibition to illustrate how he picked the winners as a judge at the event.
Photographers are invited to bring up to three of their recent photographs on a thumb drive to share and discuss after the presentation.
Nonmembers and photographers of all skill levels are welcome to attend.
