Three-year-old Bently Furda, left, makes a startling discovery under the Christmas tree at the Strater Hotel on Thursday. “My present,” she said while exploring around the tree with her friend 3-year-old Sydney Webster. The empty presents were actually part of the decorations, but the girls did not seem to mind. Bently is the daughter of Greg Furda and Meghan Lynen of Durango, and Sydney is the daughter of Gayle and Ian Webster of Durango.
