Durango Chamber to hold advance-care planning class

Durango Chamber of Commerce will hold a class about advance-care planning from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, at First National Bank of Durango, 259 W. Ninth St.

Dr. Bob Cox with Community Health Action Coalition will teach the class, which will include an overview of why advance-care planning is important, the four steps of the process and information about Medical Durable Power of Attorney and Living Will documents.

Hot Tomatoes Catering will provide lunch. Attendees are asked to use street parking; the parking lot is reserved for bank customers.
