Please take the time to vote at the upcoming election for board members serving the Durango Fire Protection District. I have been a member of this organization for 24 years and want to see it continue to move forward and serve the needs of our community. That can happen only with positive, proactive, community-minded board members. Two of the candidates running voted to tear the district apart just two years ago, and another left the organization because she did not support it. Emergency services is no place for personal agendas. Please vote for Wayne Barger, Kathy Morris and Patti Zink for the DFPD board May 6. Thank you!
