Durango Parks and Recreation releases Draft Strategic Plan

The city of Durango has released the Parks and Recreation Department’s Draft Strategic Plan for 2019-23.

The plan identifies capital projects and areas of emphasis for the next five years using dedicated Parks and Recreation sales tax funds. People can look at the plan online at www.DurangoGov.org/ParksandRec.

The plan will be presented at a joint advisory board meeting of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, Natural Lands Preservation Advisory Board and the Multimodal Advisory Board at 5 p.m. April 3 at the Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave. Public comments are welcome at the meeting.
