Morrissey, Roebuck best for county

This letter urges a vote for Cynthia Roebuck and Allison Morrissey. La Plata County’s economics are changing. For commissioner, we need someone who will work hard to streamline processes and save money and time for county government and for people who want to develop new projects.

Cynthia Roebuck knows the county’s development processes inside and out and will put that expertise to work for better systems and saving money. She will not demonstrate tea party obstructionism at every turn, nor will she be a party to sending more than half-a-million taxpayer dollars and thousands of citizens hours for a new comprehensive plan down the drain.

Vote for Cynthia Roebuck. For treasurer, we need someone with a background in accounting and finance who has worked in and understands large multi-million-dollar systems. Allison Morrissey has 25 years of proven success with the LEAN process in large companies, such as Microsoft, Pacific Gas and Electric and LyondellBasell. She will be an excellent steward of the county treasury. Join me in voting for Allison Morrissey.
