Police are New Mexico’s most violent gang

Simply put, New Mexico police are out of control. Fail to come to a complete stop at a sign in a Walmart parking lot in Deming? Get a 14-hour search of your bowels. And that’s their best bad behavior.

It seems New Mexico police would rather shoot residents than look at them, and it happens almost every day. They think nothing of emptying their clips into a minivan full of children, killing a man for illegally camping in a park or repeated illegal searches of personal nature. With a population of 500,000, Albuquerque police kill three times as many suspects as New York City police.

My family no longer thinks it is safe to visit New Mexico, and it has nothing to do with criminals – it has to do with New Mexico’s most violent street gang: the police!
