Are people who fault train blameless?

The people who blame the train for the fire may be the same people who threw a burning cigarette out the window from the train here or elsewhere on a road or walked along the track or road or trail discarding a lit cigarette or other causes of fire. It can take hours for a smoldering cigarette to start a fire. The real cause may never be known and there are many possible causes.

I do suggest that the railroad do more during summer with on-track real fire engines behind trains, fire-trained personnel, high-tech infrared detection, the ability to put out a train fire and reasonable capture of burning cinders.
