These projects are for roads, bridges and buildings and are indicative of progress in this territory.”
50 years ago: This appeared in the section called “Panther’s Pulse:” “Gymnastics is under way. Participants are working on the fundamentals of tumbling. The balance beam and the horizontal bar have been set up.”
25 years ago: “After 20 years, supporters of the Animas-La Plata water project finally think their toughest work is behind them. Indian water rights legislation – one of a series of thorny issues for the project since it was authorized in 1968 – was sent to President Reagan.”
