The Fort Lewis College women’s track and field team ran into a headwind at the University of New Mexico’s Tailwind Invitational.
Devin Kroeker finished third in the Section 4 100-meter dash in 14.33 seconds wth Carley Carter behind her in fourth at 14.92.
Kroeker also took fifth in the Section 6 200-meter dash in 30.04 seconds.
Stephanie Dexter won an all-Fort Lewis Section 3 400-meter dash in 1:02.38.
Julia Boyd-Helm was second in 1:08.15, and Angela Gorgan finishd third at 1:09.75.
Madeigh Winsor was second in the Section 4 800-meter run at 2:23.3.
Gabrielle Silva finished fifth in the javelin throw with a toss of 92 feet, eight inches.
