The Community Foundation serving Southwest Colorado will offer an informational presentation and brown-bag lunch about nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave.
Cara Lawrence of Tierney Lawrence, Denver, will discuss the limitations of nonprofits in terms of politics, advocacy, grassroots organizing and the law.
