On the front page (Herald, July 5), one headline read “Trump puts Colo. at risk,” and after reading the article, I began to ask, “How can he put a state at risk he did not win because the state Republican Party chose not to hold an open primary?”
If he had lost a majority of votes in a primary, I would say your rationalization holds weight because he did not perform well among his own.
But to say he is putting Colorado at risk just because of a few opinions, I find misleading when he was not even given a chance to perform.
