The Rotary Club of Durango will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, at the Strater Hotel, 699 Main Ave.
Special Operations Lt. Ed Aber of the La Plata County Sheriff’s Office will speak about Crisis Intervention Team training. The 40-hour training class teaches officers communication and de-escalation skills for situations that involve people in mental health crises.
