As a citizen of La Plata County, I find it insulting that Gwen Lachelt and her supporters have spread rumors and misinformation about the current recall petition.
I want to go on record to say that my husband and I, and for that matter my entire family, have never been contacted by any special interest group, nor have we attended any meeting or had a conversation with any interest group regarding Gwen or the recall.
Our concerns are our own and we chose to act on them as citizens.
