I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for choosing me as the City Council representative. Thank you for having trust and confidence in me. I am honored by each and every vote I received. I am touched by the encouragement and support you have given me, and I look forward to serving our community.
Thanks to each person who helped with my campaign. I experienced firsthand the heart, passion, dedication and high ideals this community has as I spoke to hundreds (if not thousands) of Durango residents while on the campaign trail. Our community cares, and I am confident that together, we can affect positive change, impact local lives in many beneficial ways and preserve the character of our town and our quality of life.
I want to thank the other candidates for their participation. Each candidate is committed and passionate about our community, and it was a privilege getting to know them.
I want to express my respect and appreciation for Mayor Christina Rinderle and Councilor Keith Brant. Thank you for your service to our community. Thank you, Durango Herald, for providing great campaign coverage, for showcasing all the candidates for City Council and their platforms. Lastly, I thank my family and friends for their support and affirmation along the way. Together, we have accomplished a great deal over the past several months. I am excited to see what we will accomplish in the next four years.
