Ribera
La Plata Electric Association recently promoted journeyman lineman Archie Ribera, a 10-year employee at LPEA, to working foreman.
A working foreman is one of four workers that form a “hot” crew to work on the LPEA system in the field. Ribera, in his new position, will supervise crews, ensure teams understand jobs and projects, and maintain safety and efficiency.
Ribera is from Ignacio and worked for Colorado Department of Transportation before he joined LPEA in 2007 as an equipment operator. He earned his journeyman lineman certification in 2012.
