Insurance, financial advisers to meet Nov. 10

The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors South Western Colorado will meet from noon to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 10 in the Oak Room at the Strater Hotel, 699 Main Ave.

There is no cost for members, and lunch is $20 for non-members.

The topic will be “Getting a financial advantage by knowing how banking works in 2016,” to be presented by Brenna Morlan, business banking center manager at Community Bank of Colorado.

Her experience spans 20-plus years in many different aspects of finance, business development, marketing and mortgage. Her current focus is finance and banking needs of the community. She is the current president of the Bayfield Area Chamber of Commerce, serves on the Planning Commission and participates in the Pine River Rotary Club.
