First National Bank announces new hires
First National Bank of Durango announces these new hires:
Angela Clay is a new personal banker at the Albertsons branch. Clay has lived in Durango for the last 17 years and is from Georgia. She was previously with AFLAC before joining the bank.
Tanner Lescallette is a new personal banker at the Walmart branch. Lescallette has been living in Durango for the past year and is from Hereford, Texas. She was with Walmart before joining the bank.
Business After Hours to take place Jan. 29
A Safari So Good Snowdown-themed Business After Hours will be hosted by Four Corners Broadcasting from 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 29 at the DoubleTree Hotel Ballroom, 501 Camino del Rio.
The cost is $10 for Durango Chamber of Commerce members and guests. People who wear their Safari So Good getup can enter a costume contest to win prizes.
Money, spending habits to be discussed
Durango Chamber of Commerce will host a Lunch & Learn called “Learn how You are with Money” at noon Jan. 22 at First National Bank of Durango, 259 W. Ninth St.
Allison Andersen of Durango Personal Financial Coaching will be the speaker. This presentation will help people talk about money, understand their spending habits and find their money personality. Using a hands-on learning tool called Money Habitudes, Andersen will help people understand how their spending habits, attitudes and values affect their financial decisions. The cost is $10 for chamber members and $20 for nonmembers. Reservations are required.
