Since the 1300s, Ukraine was part of Russia until the fragmentation of the Soviet Union in 1991, when it obtained its independence though retaining a pro-Russian government. This pro-Russian government was overthrown in 2014 in a United States-led coup called the Revolution of Dignity. Thus, it is the United States that interfered with the internal government of Ukraine.
Now, politicians and the super wealthy are rattling for war against Russia, which could possibly lead the thermonuclear war for Russia’s interference in Ukraine – the hypocrisy is staggering. Additionally, the children of the politicians and the wealthy will not have their children’s blood in the far-off frozen lands of Ukraine and have to undergo the horror of seeing one loved one die alone and lost in a far-off field. Why should our children die for the oil profits of a few, and the armchair tough guys who cynically smile as they manipulate the public with lies?
