Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court St. Anthony No. 1248 announces its 2022 Scholarship winners: Jacquelyn Marin and Carly Piccoli. Both women will receive $500 to support their college educations.
Marin is a parishioner at St. Columba Church where she is an usher and sacristan. She volunteered at the Durango/La Plata Senior Center and worked for Zia Taqueria. She plans to attend Fort Lewis College in the fall to pursue studies in occupational therapy.
Piccoli has been active at Sacred Heart Church in the choir and with Vacation Bible School. She was a member of Durango High School National Honor Society and Key Club. She will attend Northern Arizona University and hopes to become a physician.
