The Four Corners Gem and Mineral Club will host an afternoon of mineral identification afternoon from 3 to 6 p.m. Oct. 19 at 2351 Main Ave.
Club members with an expertise in rock, mineral and gemstone knowledge and identification will be at the club to help participants identify the rocks and minerals they want to know about. Attendees are asked bring a fist-sized rock sample at minimum and the collection location is also helpful to provide. If it is busy, the number of identifications per person may be limited.
