La Plata County’s Road and Bridge Division will begin repairing and regrading all of the gravel roads in the county road system as soon as conditions allow. District managers will identify and prioritize the grading schedule with those roads most damaged by recent winter weather being graded first.
Grading will begin on all gravel roads as soon as they are free and clear of snow and ice and dry enough for regrading operations. In the interim, drivers are advised to slow down and be extra cautious when traveling on gravel roads in adverse weather conditions.
