And the West is History: Walter Boston with pet burro, 1888

Jacob Boston was an early photographer in Durango, with many of his photos still in existence. The Bostons came to Durango in 1884, where they lived for 15 years before moving to Paonia. This photo is one of two that Jacob took of his son, Walter, with his pet burro.
