The date of the picture is unknown, and also whether this is the Fort Lewis High School or junior college team. The campus was shared by both schools from 1927 to 1933, when the high school was closed. This gym was opened in 1920 and ultimately torn down in the 1980s. The entire gymnasium was constructed in wood; it was said that when it was torn down, the wood was salvaged and used to frame a number of houses in the area.
