The Garden Project of Southwest Colorado has named Lexie Stetson-Lee as its next executive director. She replaces Sandhya Tillotson.
Stetson-Lee has worked in the nonprofit sector for 12 years, most recently serving as the deputy director of the Powerhouse Science Center. She has also worked as director at DreamBikes Inc., the nonprofit arm of Trek Bicycle, and as an eighth-grade science teacher with the Americorps partner, Teach For America, in Gallup, New Mexico. She received her Master of Science from the University of Wisconsin with a focus on educational policy and nonprofit management. She holds a bachelor’s degree in religious studies with a concentration in environmental studies from Kenyon College in Ohio.
