I am concerned how the media is manipulating women in the sexual abuse situation.
In this campaign, there is fault on both sides. Clinton seems to get a pass on her part of sexual abuse. Just because she says she is for women – where is the evidence?
When her husband sexually abused women – using his power to do so – how did Clinton respond? She went after the women.
I have known adults who were sexually abused as children and the parent or an adult knew and did nothing to protect the child. Actually shut them up. These individuals grow up thinking they have no voice or that they don’t matter.
It isn’t any different when you hear the women President Clinton abused. You hear the bitterness – and much of that bitterness is pointed at Clinton for not coming forward and helping them.
Trump is no angel. It is disturbing to no end that sex has become a part of the campaign. I know that his wife must have known in part for a man who had been married twice before – she had to know that history came with the man.
The saddest part is the children who are involved and having to hear the attacks on both sides.
But for all of us – the platform has to matter that the candidates represent. The sidebar is the distraction of sexual assault. There is enough guilt on both sides that needs a lot of help in that area – therapy advised.
But, as women, decide this: Which side is doing a better job of manipulating women emotionally on this matter?
That party is the one to avoid because they manipulate you to think the worst of someone and try to manipulate you to believe that even if they did the same – it does not matter. It’s OK for them.
