The Life-Long Learning Lecture Series at Fort Lewis College will present “CRISPR: Opportunities and Dangers of Transforming Biomedical Research” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, in Room 130 of Noble Hall.
Deborah E. Lycan, visiting professor of biology at FLC and director of the biochemistry and molecular biology program at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon, will give a presentation about CRISPR, a new technology that allows scientists to precisely edit the genome.
