Durango High School Career and Technical Education and Post-Secondary Office will sponsor the JIVE (jobs, internships, volunteers, experiences) fair from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday, at La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.
Students will have the opportunity to meet potential employers; learn about opportunities and the hiring process; and make their best first impression aimed at getting an interview. Students are encouraged to research participating employers, prepare a two-minute introduction, dress professionally and bring a portfolio.
