Potentially hazardous rock was brought down Thursday on a steep hillside above U.S. Highway 160 about two miles west of Wildcat Canyon (County Road 141). The Colorado Department of Transportation conducted the work with the help of contractor Yenter Cos. Inc. The rock work forced delays on Highway 160 in both directions intermittently throughout the day.
